Job Requirements:
- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the hotel facilities;
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays;
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility;
- Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling;
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees;
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 kg and pushing and or pulling approximately 100 kg;
- Elementary school diploma minimum, Romanian, English. Ukrainian candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly manner;
- Lobby areas;
- Offices;
- Restrooms;
- Additionally, you will be expected to communicate any safety issues and to tend to special cleaning projects as assigned;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the guest corridors;
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair;
- Delivering miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and delivering linen and supplies to guest floors;
- Removing trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and removing trash and linen from cleaning carts;
- Making up and delivering roll-a-way beds and baby cribs;
- Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms;
- Sweeping and washing floors, vacuuming carpet, washing walls, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning ashtrays, elevators and tracks;
- Reporting any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor;
- Maintaining each storage and distribution area in a clean and organized condition.
